University of Evansville senior Maggie Wood, who led the Aces with a 54-hole total of 241 in the Chris Banister Golf Classic earlier this week, was chosen today as Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week.  It was the third time in Wood's career that she was chosen for the honor.

Wood shot rounds of 79, 84 and 78 at Silver Lakes Golf Course in Glencoe, Ala. to finish 24th overall.  She and her UE teammates compete again Sept. 20 and 21 at the Cincinnati Fall Classic.
