EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville men’s soccer team welcomes Butler University to Arad McCutchan Stadium Saturday for a non-conference matchup set to start at 7:00 p.m. CT.
HISTORY LESSON
Last season, the Bulldogs slipped past Evansville, 2-1, on Oct. 5, 2010 in Indianapolis. However, Evansville has won three of the past four meetings, including two overtime decisions. UE’s most recent win over Butler was on Sept. 7, 2008 in Evansville. The Aces won, 3-0. Evansville leads the all-time series, 11-7.

Austin Oldham (5g, 3a, 13pts), Audekunle Oluyedun (3, 2a, 8pts), and Zach Steinberger (2g, 4a, 8pts) lead the Bulldogs’ offense. Jon Dawson has played the majority of time in net, recording a 1.83 GAA, 28 saves, .636 save percentage, 2-5-1 record, and one shutout.

LEAGUE LEADERS
On the season, UE is No. 1 in the MVC for assists per game (2.27). Individually, Jesse Sharp ranks first in assists per game (0.55), while
Eric Teppen ranks first in the conference in saves per game (5.33) and has also recorded the most saves in a single match among MVC teams, recording 10 vs. Loyola-Chicago on Sept. 16.
