PHILADELPHIA, Miss. -- University of Evansville junior Andrew Luo is tied for first place in a field of 83 golfers going into Monday's final round of the 22nd annual Frito-Lay/AT&T Intercollegiate. UE's first tournament of the spring season is hosted by Jackson State University at Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in Philadelphia, Miss.
Luo shot 37 on the front nine and 34 on the back to finish at 1-under par 71 and tie John Joseph of Mercer for the first round lead. Evansville's Michael Sainz is tied for seventh after shooting 75. As a team, the Aces stand fifth out of 17 teams with a score of 309. Mercer leads at 295.
