ONEONTA, Ala. -- It's been a good 2011 for University of Evansville golfer Andrew Luo (pronounced LOO).  After placing fifth in a field of 90 at the Aces' first tournament of the year, Luo followed with a fourth place finish today among 92 golfers at the Samford Intercollegiate.  The tournament's third and final round could not be completed today because of lightning and rain.

Luo shot 73 in Monday's first round and a career-best 68 in round two to finish at 3-under-par 141 at the par 72, 6,987-yard Limestone Springs Golf Club.  The 68 was one shot better than his previous collegiate low round. He finished five strokes behind medalist Hunter Slatton of Alabama.  As a team, Evansville climbed two places in the second round to finish sixth in the field of 18 teams.  Coach Jim Hamilton's Aces play again March 28 and 29 at the Butler Spring Invitational.
