EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Next week, the Purple Aces women’s golf team will play host to the Charles Braun Jr. Intercollegiate at Quail Crossing Golf Club.
Set for Monday and Tuesday, the event will feature 13 teams include: Evansville, USI, Nebraska-Omaha, Creighton, Butler, Northern Iowa, Eastern Kentucky, Dayton, Indiana State, Valparaiso, SIU Edwardsville, Southern Illinois and IUPUI.
Play begins with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. each day with 18 holes being played.
The UE women took 11
th place last time out as
Paige Crafton led the way. The freshman wrapped up the tournament with a team-best 74 on her way to a 27
th-place showing.
Finishing in a tie with Crafton was
Sydney Skiles, who also carded a 156.
Cathy Doyle was the third Aces on the leaderboard, finishing three strokes behind the top UE duo with a 159.
