EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Fifteen teams make their way to the area as the University of Evansville women's golf team will host the third-annual Braun Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday.
 
Oak Meadow Country Club will play host to the tournament, which will feature a total of 36 holes.  Par is set for 72 with 6,032 yards comprising each round.  Fans are invited to come out each day to cheer on the 15 squads.
 
Teams playing include: Evansville, Lipscomb, SIU Edwardsville, Dayton, Indiana State, Butler, Northern Iowa, Valparaiso, Northern Kentucky, Southern Indiana, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Illinois, Tennessee State, Loyola and Green Bay.
 
Sophomore Kayla Katterhenry led the way with a 76 as the Purple Aces finished up the Dayton Fall Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio.
 
Led by Katterhenry's score, the Purple Aces came home in sixth place.  Combined with her opening day 79, Katterhenry completed the tournament in a tie for 11th place with a 155.  Following her stellar opening day that included the first hole-in-one of her career, Cathy Doyle carded an 81 in the final round to finish one shot behind Katterhenry in a tie for 13th.
 
Dana Hayden posted her top round of the season on Monday before posting an 88 in the final round.  She finished in a tie for 52nd with a 175.  Next up was Giulia Mallmann.  She improved by four strokes on Tuesday to finish with a 168.  Maggie Camp was one behind with a 169.
