EVANSVILLE, Ind. - A new look squad for the University of Evansville women's basketball team has found out how it will spend its January, February, and early March as the Missouri Valley Conference announced the release of the 2018-19 MVC Women's Basketball schedule in a release on Tuesday.

A cast of six newcomers joins six returners for the upcoming season for Evansville. In 2018-19, the Purple Aces' schedule features a 29-game regular season schedule with an additional exhibition contest. Of the 30 games, Evansville hosts an even split of those contests with 15 home games inside Meeks Family Fieldhouse.

Evansville's conference slate begins on January 4 with a trip to Southern Illinois. Following the Friday showdown with the Salukis, Evansville heads to Springfield, Mo. to face Missouri State on January 6.

The first opportunity for Aces' fans to watch Evansville take on an MVC foe comes on January 11 when UE hosts Bradley inside Meeks Family Fieldhouse.

Just shy of the midway point of the season, the Aces play host to 2017-18 MVC regular season and tournament champion Drake on Sunday, January 27.

The Aces' regular season schedule comes to a close with a pair of home MVC contests beginning with a matchup with Missouri State on March 7 before closing the regular season against Southern Illinois on March 9.

All weekend home games will be played at 1 p.m., with all weekday home games tipping-off at 6 p.m. this season.
