  • For the Panthers, Karli Rucker scored a game-high 28 points, hitting six of her eight three-point attempts.
  • Despite falling behind early, the story of the game for the Aces was their ability to fight back and answer UNI's runs.
  • UNI opened the game with back-to-back threes to take control of the early portion of the contest. The lead grew to 11 for the Panthers before the midpoint of the first quarter as UNI shot 3-3 from three and 5-6 from the field to force an Evansville timeout and take a 13-2 lead.
  • UNI built its lead to its largest point of the first quarter at 18-2, but Evansville was able to chip away at the Panthers' advantage.

  • Evansville was resilient and relentless in the third quarter. The Aces methodically closed to within four of the Panthers as Thomas drained her second triple with 7:04 left in the period.
  • The Panthers' lead fluctuated through-out the third quarter, but Evansville was able to keep its deficit in single-digits and trail by just nine at 56-47 heading into the fourth.
  • The fourth quarter saw one last push from Evansville as the Aces cut within one possession. Down eight, junior Alexis Thomas hit a triple and the Aces' followed the three with a defensive stop.
  • On the ensuing offensive possession, the Aces found Feit in the post and the freshman got to the basket and scored, cutting the Panthers' lead to just three at 59-56 with 7:07 left in the game and forcing a UNI timeout.
  • Coming out of the timeout, Evansville got within one on another Feit layup with 6:30 left to play.
  • After Feit's basket, the Panthers pushed back, holding Evansville to just two points in the final seven minutes of the game and scoring 17 of their own to pull away for the 76-60 win.
  • A key to the Panthers' win were threes and rebounds. UNI hit four three-pointers in the first five minutes of the game and hit three more in the final five minutes to secure the game. The Panthers also out-rebounded the Aces, 49-27, including 19 offensive boards.
