  • Joining Feit in double-figures was redshirt junior Jada Poland with 10 points.
  • For the Lady Bears, four players scored double-digits, led by Jasmine Franklin with 17 points and nine rebounds.
  • A 19-3 run was key in the first half for the Bears to build a double-digit advantage, which stood for much of the contest.
  • After trailing 8-3 in the early going, Evansville scored seven-straught points to take a 10-8 lead over the Lady Bears with 4:26 left in the opening quarter.
  • It was then that Missouri State mounted its 19-3 run that pushed the lead to 16 for the Lady Bears midway through the second quarter.
  • Evansville would work its way back within six, but Missouri State regained a nine-point lead at the half.
  • The deficit remained manageable during much of the early portion of the third quarter, before it was the Lady Bears again who went on a spree.
  • At the conclusion of the third period, Missouri State had built its lead from six to 19 with 10 minutes remaining.
  • In the final quarter, it was all Missouri State, who built a 26-point lead, earning the 81-55 win.
  • Evansville again boasted a strong shooting percentage for the second-straight game, hitting 51.2% (22-43) of its shots, but the Aces turned the ball over 22 times and was out-rebounded, 38-21, resulting in 22 more shot attempts for the Lady Bears.

Previewing the Matchup
  •  Evansville and Indiana State are meeting for the 57th time with the Sycamores owning a 38-18 advantage in the all-time series.
  • The Aces and Sycamores last met on March 1, 2019 in Evansville's last MVC and road victory, a 59-56 triumph over Indiana State in the Hulman Center.
  • The win for the Aces last season stopped a three-game win streak for the Sycamores in the series.
  • Evansville has won two of the last three meetings in Terre Haute, securing a 59-56 win last season and a 52-44 victory on March 4, 2017.
  • The last five meetings between the two sides have been decided by nine points or less with the closest margin of victory being three points in last season's 59-56 Aces' win.
  • On Sunday, Evansville welcomed in then-22nd ranked Missouri State to Meeks Family Fieldhouse. The game was the first time that the Aces hosted a ranked team, since hosting a ranked Missouri State side on Jan. 13, 2001. • In two MVC games last weekend, Evansville showed improved shooting efficiency. Against SIU, the Aces shot 42.3% (22-52) from the field. Evansville improved upon Friday's performance with a 51.2% (22-43) shooting performance. The 51.2% shooting percentage against the Lady Bears was the second-best shooting performance for Evansville this season, behind a 63.9% (23-36) performance against Austin Peay on Nov. 21.
  • Indiana State enters the matchup of travel partners on Friday with a 2-18 overall mark and an 0-8 record in the MVC. The Sycamores like the Aces are winless in 2020. Indiana State's last win came on Nov. 19, 2019 in a 61-40 road victory over UIC.  Both of Indiana State's wins this season have come on the road.
