EVANSVILLE - Announcing its first addition to its 2021 class, the University of Evansville women's basketball team has announced the signing of Maycee Lange.
Lange comes to Evansville from Vincennes, Indiana where the 6'0" forward has filled the stat sheet for Lincoln High School the past three seasons.
"We are very excited to welcome Maycee to our women's basketball program," said Aces head women's basketball coach Matt Ruffing. "Maycee is someone who excels both on and off the court and we believe will fit very nicely into our culture. Can't wait to add her to what we are building here at the University of Evansville."
A two-time All-State honoree, Lange was selected to the Indiana Junior All-Star team after nearly averaging a double-double in her third prep season, recording 15.7 points and 9.9 rebounds per contest. As just a junior, Lange eclipsed the 1,000 point mark becoming just the second Lady Alice to reach the milestone.
Lange played a starring role in the 2019-20 campaign for Vincennes Lincoln, helping the Lady Alices to a 19-5 record.
