Last Time Out
The Aces are coming off a 2-1 victory against Belmont in which Junior Brielle LaBerge scored two goals marking her second brace of the season.

The Aces struck quickly with a goal just two minutes into the game. Junior Lindley Amick found Brielle LaBerge one-on-one during a free kick and launched the ball straight to her. LaBerge flicked the ball right over the head of the Bruin keeper and into the top middle of the goal.

After the goal, Evansville found its defense taking the game over as Goalkeeper Bri Chirpich accumulated three saves to preserve the lead for UE going into the half.

Coming out of the half, Belmont was able to find a goal just a few minutes into the second. After earning a penalty inside the Belmont box, LaBerge fired the ball right behind the keeper to regain the Aces' lead and to earn her second goal of the day. In the final 20 minutes Bri Chirpich and the Evansville defense were able to hold strong and close out the match for a 2-1 victory.

Brielle LaBerge's performance helped her win the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week. She now has three weekly honors on the season and is the first player to earn two Player of the Week honors this season.
