EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville men's soccer team continues Missouri Valley Conference play on Sunday, traveling to Kalamazoo, Mich., to face Western Michigan in its second consecutive road match. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT.
Series History
Sunday marks the 12th all-time meeting between Evansville and Western Michigan. The Aces hold a 7-2-2 advantage in the series and lead 3-1-0 in meetings played in Kalamazoo.
The teams met twice last season at Arad McCutchan Stadium, once during the regular season and again in the MVC Championship final. The Aces won the regular-season meeting, 2-0, before Western Michigan claimed a 1-0 victory in the championship match.
Scouting Xavier
Western Michigan enters Sunday's match with a 3-6-3 record and a 1-0-1 mark in MVC play. The Broncos most recently earned a 4-0 victory over St. Thomas on Tuesday at home.
The Broncos are led by junior forward Vitor Geromel who leads the team with 13 points on six goals and one assist. His six goals rank second in the MVC this season.

Evansville fell to No. 18 Xavier, 4-0, on Tuesday night in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Alex Tura recorded Evansville's first shot on goal in the ninth minute before Xavier scored in the 11th and 26th minutes to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
Hugo Amo made three saves in the opening half, including a penalty kick stop.
Amo made three saves in the opening 30 minutes of the second half until the Musketeers converted a penalty kick in the 80th minute. Xavier added a goal in the 90th minute to secure the 4-0 victory.
