EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Missouri Valley Conference play opens this weekend when the University of Evansville volleyball team welcomes Southern Illinois and Bradley to Meeks Family Fieldhouse. UE hosts the Salukis at 6 p.m. Friday before taking on the Braves at 5 p.m. Saturday with ESPN+ carrying both matches.

- Savannah Gogel added her top tally of 14 kills along with seven blocks and Wren Jones completed the win with 13 kills

Reaching 20
- In four of the last six matches, Kendall Agler has finished with at least 20 digs
- Highlighting the stretch was a career-best 31 digs in the road win at Tennessee State
- She added 23 digs at UT Martin, 22 versus Kansas City, and 20 in the win over USI
- Agler's season average of 4.26 digs per set is 4th in the MVC while her total of 197 digs is 4th in the league and 48th in the nation
- Over the last six matches, she is averaging 4.83 digs per set
 
Hometown Success
- In the victory over USI, Ryan Scheu matched her career high with 15 kills
- A strong start to the season has seen er post 7 or more kills in nine of the first 12 matches
- She had 10 kills against Kansas City while posting nine kills versus Rutgers
- She had 8 kills in the road win at Tennessee State before posting 9 kills in the home win versus the Tigers
- Scheu is hitting .352 on the season, which is 5th in the MVC
 
Scouting the Opponent
