SOUTH BEND, Ind. – University of Evansville golfers Griffin Wood and Parker Hensley recorded top ten finishes as the Purple Aces played 36 holes at the Battle of the Warren in South Bend.
 
Wood and Hensley had identical rounds, with each shooting a 1-over 72 in the first round before tallying 77’s to finish play in a tie for 9^th with a 149.
 
Andrew Luo notched rounds of 78 and 74 en route to a tie for 15^th place while Michael Sainz came in a tie for 20^th with a 154.
 
Quinn Vilneff finished in 27^th place with a 157 while Sam Cobb was 36^th after carding a 173.
 
Notre Dame swept the top six positions as the Fighting Irish took the team win by 36 strokes over Illinois State.  UND had a 564 while Illinois State had a 600.  Marquette was third with a 601 while the Aces took fourth place honors with a 604.
 
The Aces will wrap up the season beginning on April 30 at the State Farm MVC Tournament. which will be played at Prairie Dunes Golf Club in Hutchinson, Kan.
