Terre Haute, IN – The Aces are headed to Memorial Stadium in Terre Haute, IN for Saturday's matchup against Indiana State. This will be both teams' third conference game of the season.
 
Last Time Out
The Aces are still looking for their first conference win after a 2-1 loss versus Drake last week. Both defenses shined in last Saturday's matchup. Drake took a 1-0 lead in the 20' minute on the first shot of the game but was stonewalled by the Evansville defense for the rest of the half, only allowing three total shots in the first 45'.
 
The offenses began heating up in the second half with the teams combining for twelve shots. Evansville's Bri Chirpich tallied five saves on eight shots and stacked her season total to 31 saves.
 
Evansville tied the game when Senior Forward Taylor Johnson scored off an assist from Brielle LaBerge in the 58' minute. This marks Johnson's first goal of the season and her third point of the year. The Bulldogs took the final goal of the game with a strike in the 72'.
